Founder
Jayden spent eight years as a community-bank underwriter watching strong small businesses get the wrong loan because nobody packaged them right. He left in 2014 to start Prime Edge with a simple thesis: small businesses don't need more lenders, they need someone who knows which door to knock on. Today he leads the firm and personally reviews every FFSB closing over $1M.

Every FFSB engagement gets a coordinator and an advisor. Here's who those people are.
Kylie spent six years as a fractional CFO across more than twenty owner-operated businesses — restaurants, professional services, e-commerce, and light manufacturing. She leads Prime Edge's post-funding advisory practice and personally builds the cash flow models for our larger engagements.
Fifteen years of SBA experience — five at a Preferred Lender and ten as an independent packager. Lisa joined Prime Edge in late 2025 to lead our underwriting bench and the SBA pipeline. Her file rejection rate is in the single digits.
Andy runs the state side of FFSB. He spends his weeks talking to economic development offices, state lending desks, and industry program managers — the people who actually decide who qualifies for what. If you got an email about a program you'd never heard of, it probably came from Andy.
Miguel ran a regional restaurant group before joining Prime Edge. He leads our operations advisory work — back-office cleanup, expansion sequencing, and the unglamorous middle third of every growth story. Owners say he's the person they forward their hardest texts to at 9pm on a Sunday.
How we hire
Our first hire is rarely the most polished resume. We've consistently found that people who've sweated payroll, run an expansion that didn't work, or sat across from a banker who didn't get it — those are the people owners want answering the phone.
Every member of our advisory bench has spent meaningful time inside an operating business or on a credit committee. Several have done both. None of them came up through a cubicle.
Plain-language communication, real underwriting fluency, and a working knowledge of at least one operating business.
Aggressive sales personalities, performative jargon, or anyone who thinks the owner is the obstacle.
